I have a small tendency to practice schadenfreude. Not that I`m unsympathic to another`s troubles, but if it was predictable and preventable, I can`t help it.

She had a 5 year contract to play his wife. She was one of two actresses that was up for the job. The other was Jessica Alba. The person pulling the strings was David Geffen who also got Cher to pretend that she had a tryst with Cruise years back.
This is all pretend. It is how Hollywood works.
The 5 year deal is over. Holmes will never go on TV and say anything bad about Scientology. She will come up with more scripted fantasy which will include BS about how non-gay Cruise is. At some point Cruise will hire a new “wife” and the next “act” starts.
