Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts stated that if you don't buy health insurance under Obamacare you will pay a tax.
If you don't buy insurance, you would be violating the law and have to pay a penalty Tax to the IRS.
What other taxes in the future may you have to pay for doing nothing. Here is a potential list:
Not putting solar panels on your house a $1000 tax.
A tax of $2000 for not buying a electric car.
Not driving a bike to work $500 tax.

how can this NOT violate the “equal treatment” requirment of any tax?
People who are able to afford to buy health insurance do not have to pay the tax but poor people unable to afford health insurace have to pay a tax?
this is F’d up all over- GOOD LEGACY ROBERTS~!
No way to spin this. Individual liberty is gone. Health care choices were just the first on the list.
Time to take the gloves off or submit to tyranny.
More reasons for those calling for a tax revolt. How would that come to pass?
It’s a capitation tax, no matter how you disguise it. If you live, you owe tribute, one way or the other.
There is nothing to stop the unaccountable, unelected “Secretary” from issuing “regulations” that could effect every aspect of daily life.
Just think of the edicts they could jam in under some Mental Health Care category.
They can regulate your body and your mind.
Not having a mortgage... You pay more in tax
We need a flat tax with no deductions... If you want to propose a constitutional amendment I’m with you until then... What we have is what we have.
People without cars don’t pay for car insurance.
Let’s git em.
Given our corrupt politicians proclivity to tax and spend it is inevitable that such taxes will be levied. We are increasingly being left with but one option which everyone knows but will not state.
People who don’t exercise cost “society” far more than the average uninsured person. http://www.aei.org/article/scalias-correct-the-slippery-slope-towards-compulsory-exercisescalias-correct-the-slippery-slope-towards-compulsory-exercise/
A tax on those who don’t exercise or who are overweight seems almost a foregone conclusion.
This decision is plainly un-constitutional, there is no way to frame it in any terms that would make it so. Roberts forced the SCOTUS into an un-constitutional act.
The remedy is in the Constitution:
Roberts should be impeached and removed for violting his oath. He cannot be allowed to remain on the court with judgement so flawed.
The decision MUST be reversed at the first opportunity in an expedited fashion through constitutional processes.
The other choice for the people is clearly outlined in the Declaration of Independence . . .
