general discussion thread We haven’t had any movie reviews since “Mrs. Miniver” a month ago so this will have to tide us over until the next all-time classic. TCM didn’t have any clips or trailers for this epic. If the review is accurate that is a merciful omission. I see that Eddie Albert has a minor role in “Eagle Squadron.” He will be taking a leave of absence from Hollywood soon, if he hasn’t already left for the navy. In 16 months he will be transporting Marines from a transport to a very hot beach at Tarawa Atoll.
