Oh, man, Viking!!! Thank the Lord your Mom, you and your cats and them and your sister are okay, despite the trauma! At least, I hope your sister is okay after the wreck!

Our week was nothing compared to yours—just hot and busy!

So, how was your week again? LOL

Pretty good :). I just need to dial in the thermostat and decide weather more beer or bourbon is appropriate.

It’s all about James Cagney.

Since you’re on vacation, Vision, you should certainly keep both bourbon and plenty of iced beer on hand, since you may want one or the other at any given moment!

Lyrics to Over There :
Johnnie, get your gun,
Get your gun, get your gun,
Take it on the run,
On the run, on the run.
Hear them calling, you and me,
Every son of liberty.
Hurry right away,
No delay, go today,
Make your daddy glad
To have had such a lad.
Tell your sweetheart not to pine,
To be proud her boy’s in line.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Everywhere.
So prepare, say a prayer,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We’ll be over, we’re coming over,
And we won’t come back till it’s over
Over there.

Johnnie, get your gun,
Get your gun, get your gun,
Johnnie show the Hun
Who’s a son of a gun.
Hoist the flag and let her fly,
Yankee Doodle do or die.
Pack your little kit,
Show your grit, do your bit.
Yankee to the ranks,
From the towns and the tanks.
Make your mother proud of you,
And the old Red, White and Blue.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Everywhere.
So prepare, say a prayer,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We’ll be over, we’re coming over,
And we won’t come back till it’s over
Over there.

Off the top of my head, I can't remember anyone else being more proAmerican as James Cagney and Jimmy Stewart. There were others, but these were leaders.

Yeah, except for bruises and cuts, she's fine - her head absorbed the initial impact, so there wasn't anything to damage. LMAO

Oh, bourbon, of course. I would suggest Evan Williams Cherry Reserve or Jim Beam Devil's Cut. Mom said she was watching the Indians/O's game yesterday, and one of Cleveland's batters hit one that landed out on Utah Street. Somebody threw it back into the stadium. I thought, yup, he's a townie. Attitude. LOL

Can anyone image Brad Pitt, George Clooney, or Johnny Depp signing these songs?

What happened?

Hard-headed like her sweet-pea son, no doubt (or, rather, her son like HER)! :-)

The commies invaded and succeeded. "Justice" Roberts confirmed it on Thursday.

Oh, my. Old Weller and Rebel Yell used to be my bourbons of choice back in the day. Didn't know they did a 107 proof now. I gave up on the stuff at the wife's request about a dozen years ago (except for special occasions), so I'm a little out of the loop on what's hitting the shelves. We just had a liquor superstore open up a few months ago, and I am allowed to infrequently indulge, so I'm going to be looking out for it.

It was my little sister. A blonde. That should nutshell it.

Goodnight, Vision and Viking (the two V-Guys!)

I hope you both are okay this coming week.

Lets pray for Dr. Scarpetta with her hurt shoulder and her husband who broke his leg.
