Good afternoon ladies! Thank you for being here everyday.
Beautiful day here a tad on the warm side, but I’m not complaining.

Amazing Grace (Click)
By John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see. . Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, . And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! . Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. . The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures. . Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace. . The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine. . When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun. |

Hi, Conor! Praying that you still have power, where you live!
I love your Amazing Grace on the bag-pipes!
Here is a little 7 year old girl singing it (and she’s very good!)

The Lords Prayer Andrea Bocelli (Click)
DEAR GOD, who suffered torment, agony, and death upon the Cross to free our souls from the chains of iniquity, protect and defend our troops. Guide them in the performance of their duties. Strengthen them to endure hard- ship, danger and deprivation in Your service. Let their efforts free the people of Iraq and Afghan- istan from the chains of terror and slavery, foster a lasting peace in the region, and bring all to a greater share in Your Mercy. Amen.

Hi, Yorkie! A Blessed Lord's Day to you!
We've had power the whole time, but people very close to us have been out now since Friday night. Very bad situation. I hope everything is going well for you. I've been sick since Wednesday - on a ten-day course of antibiotics. They don't seem to have taken hold yet.
I'm staying indoors - the heat here is still brutal - 96F right now. Thank the Lord we have A/C!

Hi, Meg! A beautiful Graphic!
A Blessed Lord's Day to you and yours! Unfortunately, I'm still sick - in the fourth day of a ten-day course of antibiotics. Feeling puny today and staying inside. Our power stayed on for the duration - we're very lucky - many households have lost power and it will several days before the power is restored.

Beautiful opening today, Meg, and lovely Psalm! Thank
you. Your bird replies are gorgeous today, as usual! Have a wonderful Sunday! I am just now getting my shower and myself cleaned up. Its too hot outside to breathe.
My power was out Friday night for about an hour and a half. Long enough that the house was getting too warm. I felt very uneasy. But I feel for those who still have no power. We have had a tremendous heat wave here. Its unusual when we hit the 100’s in Tennessee. We only have 94 at this moment....a real cool spell! LOL! I feel so bad for all the folks in Colorado who lost their homes to fire. The last I heard it was close to 400 homes gone. It is so tragic. I cannot imagine their feelings but my prayers are with them.

Thank you, jaycee...You know I love “bird” day..They are all Utah birds.
I can deal better with power outages when it’s cold ..not hot! I feel for all those without power in the heat wave..
It’s only 90 here..a cold wave compared to our 105 and 106..
Loss of a home is just devastating..I feel so sorry for those who have lost everything in the fires.

Oh, Meg - I honestly did not know that you had a designated “bird day”. I apologize for posting all that other stuff! I’ll look for a Utah bird......
