I have a Transformer and could nut imagine going for a smaller tablet. The 10” screen is just about right for me.
I have the Transformer Prime and a 7” Chinese Knock Off I bought online. I have a hard time choosing which one I want to take with me sometimes because the 7” size is very convenient, it weighs basically nothing, and I can type with my thumbs in landscape mode, which I find more efficient and less cumbersome. The chinese knock off specs are cheap so it comes with a terrible screen(800x600) and can overheat but it only cost $90 compared to the Transformer Prime which set me back $600. So I will probably end up getting this and if it works out give my other tablets away.
I agree. 10” is perfect.
I have the new Apple iPad (Gen 3). Had a Gen 1 (64gb ,WiFi)from when they first came out and my wife just inherited it because she got me the Genb 3 for my b-day.
The new one is just an outstanding device. Again, 64gb, Wifi with two cameras (looking both ways) at 6 Megapixels or so.
Use it all the time for surfing, research, keeping up with family, face-time/skype, the list goes on.
Amazing times we are living in.
I have a tranformer and it’s pretty much replaced my laptop for daily use. If they put phone functions on this thing, for $200, I would use it as my phone.
Opposite experience here. I went from a 7” Galaxy tab to a 10.1” Galaxy tab. I really miss the smaller tablet, and I’m considering picking up a Kindle Fire because it’s smaller.
I would hazard to guess that how you use it is the real factor comes into play here. My 10” tablet does many things better than the smaller one, but 9/10 of my usage is reading (books), and the 7” tablet was the absolute perfect size for reading.
Same here. I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and it's just perfect for me. We live in exciting times... pretty soon these things will be so cheap that they'll almost be disposable like buying a magazine.
