How many out there have lib friends and finding it increasingly difficult to remain friends?
Me. I guess the party of “love and understanding” ain’t what it used to be.

I have this problem. These liberals, they value their opinions quite a bit but expect me not to voice mine? Sorry. I don’t just shut up to get along. And it’s impossible to reason with these idiots. So I’ve written a few off. It’s just to tiresome to even try.

People with lib friends should find it difficult to have conservative friends. If one wants to provide social and familial support, i.e., fraternize with evil then that person should be shunned along with the trash with whom they frolic. |
They can never be friends - only smart-asses you tolerate, though they are as dumb as a box of rocks.
They avoid talking Politics with me be I destroy them.
And....they warn other not to.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. It worsens over time. It will start out as a good natured disagreement. At some point, they will be unable to resist talking about politics with you. They’ll start lording the libtarded propaganda / talking points over you, trying to score points and wearing you down with their persistence. Then as it grows even worse, especially if you try and debate them, or if you get frustrated and start returning insults, they will come to the conclusion that you are not just wrong, that you are evil. At that point, they will go beyond obnoxious, or may even break off contact with you.
I saw it happen with a very close friend of mine - someone who was the Best Man at my wedding. Now we hardly ever talk.
Sometimes I just wanna punch one of my coworkers in the face.
Today he claimed that Obama created 12 million jobs.
I tried to reason with him but he went into full Obamabot mode and I shut up.
Just tell them that you try to keep your political views to yourself around them out of civility and would appreciate them doing likewise. If they can’t do that tell them to f-off.
There’s the “I dunno” approach.
“I dunno, I dunno, but to me Obama is nothing but a commie ... but I dunno, maybe I’m wrong.”
I’m lucky, the guy I was best man for is like a brother to me.
No offense but this guarantees you’re going to have to tell them to eff off.
Find new friends. Seriously. I washed the last arrogant lib jerk out of my life a couple years ago. Felt great.
I am very easy going and used to joke all the time with my “commie, hippie, treehugging, “ colleagues. Not anymore. It will soon be a time for a reckoning. I ain’t playing anymore. It’s like a bar or a hockey game when you know a fight is going to break out. You don’t know who is going to start it, but a storm is coming.
Um, they typically won’t shut up. And their opinions are almost always il-informed libspeak tripe unsupported by real-world facts or experience.
I’m done with such people...
I live in CT. All my friends, and all but one of my family are hard core libs. It’s quite difficult to keep my mouth shut, to say the least.
I connected with a bunch of my hs friends on fb. So many were flaming libs i just dumped them all. I do not wish to be friends wi t h any libs.
