Got my fishing license yesterday, it took my driver's license for identification, my birthdate AND my social security number. Oops forgot, also a phone number, gal said that was a required box to fill in on the computer.
I can go vote with no identification.
I live in the communistic state of Maryland - oh yeah that explains it.
I guess that so the fish know where to find us to sue us.
I would say fish..but even if you don’t vote for Romney (which I have changed my mind on since b/c of Obama’s push for “gay/fake marriage”, and I know that Romney will not support), I say VOTE (at least for Senate, House and state and local offices+ your marriage amenment WILL be on the ballot) best to support this lest the libs come to restrict your religious freedom eventually!!
We have to show our voter reg card and ID to vote
“Is it more important to fish or vote?”
And I say, “why can’t we have both?”
If you don’t go fishing, you do not get to vote.
If you do go fishing, whether you caught something or not, you get one vote.
If you caught more than one fish, you get an ‘extra’ vote for each fish.
I’ve always shown ID to vote here in Georgia; everyone does. I keep waiting for the uprising; what gives? Maybe everyone went back South; sure didn’t stop in ‘Bama.....
“I guess that so the fish know where to find us to sue us.”
Right on the mark if that idiot buddy of Obama’s Cass Sunstein has his way.
Illegals around here do both without identification. You’re approaching the question from the viewpoint of someone that thinks there are rules for behavior. Not everyone is so hindered.
“Is it more important to fish THAN vote?”
And the junkmail and phone calls from those the state sold your data to may begin......................
“Is Fishing More Important Than Voting?”
Fishing is more important..
Voting is what you talk about before, after and while you’re fishing..
We have to show ID to dump trash at the local landfill, and to sell scrap metal to a Recycling Plant.
Why?
Fishing makes beer more enjoyable and beer makes voting more enjoyable.
I’ve had to similar information in just about every state I lived in or visited for fishing. I have had better luck getting a keeper while fishing than while voting.
Is that a trick question?
not at all just shows the thinking and priorities of the elected officials in Maryland
Money quote.
Depends on if you are a democrat or not. If you are, then it’s not a big deal to have to prove who you are when you go to the booth. Vote early and often.
“teach a man to fish”...
teach a dead man to vote and you’ll have a democrat voting Congress to fish in a working taxpayer’s pocket for life.
That is a great question. Thank you very much for posting this. I mean that in all sincerity.
I’m going to use this question on my liberal pinhead co-workers here in my office in NYC. Normally I steer clear of politics but this is one issue that I am vocal on. And the interesting thing is, so are those co-workers who (even while still libs on everything else) happen to be immigrant Americans and know how f*’d up it is to live in a country where the ruling party “owns” votes.
Thanks again. Great, great question.
