This is an allegory. The drumming monkeys represent hollywood. The washerwomen represent the loss of innocence and the train going into the tunnel represents.....oh....wait a minute......that was my dream last night......never mind......

Listening to the lyrics gives me the impression that he is a One World/Globalist dreamer. The recurring theme of the song is
