LOVE the meat cleaver!
Seriously *awesome* tune. I’ve been digging on Peter Fox for a while now. I also like Schwarz Zu Blau.
His Seeed stuff is basically rap, though. Meh. The solo stuff is brilliant.
Oh, yeah - also check out Haus Am See. Cool groove.
I should also report that - sadly - his solo career is basically over. :-(

YES, no idea why, just YES!
Thanks S&A, great find.
Oh - one last point: can’t speak German? Go here...

Then hit PLAY on the video below and follow along with the English lyrics above. You’ll be AMAZED how easy it is to follow the German lyrics.
Cool.
Thanks for posting that. Good videos with good songs make me smile.
For some reason that video reminded me of this old one.
It’s the masterpiece, ‘Venus As A Boy’, by Bjork. Enjoy.

By the way, here is the all-time classic monkey music video:

Tight German musik. When Germans do something, they do it well...
With American (North Carolina, “Cold Steel”) drummers. Good to see highly skilled, well practiced, marching bad guys get recognition beyond parades and football games.
No idea what you see (hear) in that.
They’re not monkeys, they’re chimps, or at least apes, if they are too abstract to be chimps in particular. Phylogenetically, you know, we are much closer to chimps than chimps, or humans, are to monkeys. In fact the whole drift in the academic community in charge of this kind of thing, whoever they are, is to place chimps and gorillas closer and closer to humans, with constant shifts in the taxonomic nomenclature. Meanwhile, the vulgar masses persist in their medieval prejudices. It is to laugh.
... and btw, the video is explicitly racist, or pretending to be, near the end, with the visual equation of black men with the chimps, and the execution of traditionally black drumming techniques by the chimp brigade.
It is amazing to me what people consider as good art or music now a days. I think it sounds primordial but to each his own.
