Nothing less than a full repeal of “Obamacare”, and the T.Kennedy influence of government legislated out of our medical system is acceptable to me.

We have to get the Nanny out of Government. Make it too small for Nanny to move in, and take over bossing everybody about.

I sell Part D Medicare, Prescription Drug plans.

The “Donut Hole” is useful, it FORCES people to care about the cost of the drugs they are taking, consider generics, consider other drugs as a replacement, etc.

It is a really dumb idea to get rid of the “donut hole” as Part D is the ONLY government program, in history, to come in below budget projections.

The Donut Hole has a great deal to do with that fact.

This probably is phoney, but I do believe that Obamacare, if it survives the Supreme Court, won’t be repealed even if the Republican Parry takes control of the House and Senate and Romney somehow becomes President. There are too many liberals and socialists in both parties.

I did not know that Mr. West is a socialist appeaser. I hope someone can find evidence that this story is false.

Repeal the whole thing. Not one shred should survive.

People should buy the insurance they desire at the price the market provides. Remember, it is “Insurance”, not “medical care”; two very different things.

Insurance is paid protection against monetary loss. Medical care is what you actually receive. I should be able to buy the insurance I want, to cover those I choose, in a manner I want at a price the FREE MARKET DETERMINES.

If I can’t afford something, I can’t buy it. It should not be given to me “free” (paid by someone else). If I “need” something to live but can’t afford it, charity may help but I CANNOT DEMAND it for free. Life is tough. Can’t afford your meds, too bad.

Why do so many think that they should get something they can’t pay for? The brilliant Dr Walter Williams had an article prescribing this sickness of forced labor. When you demand it for free you are stealing the labor of your neighbor.

“You’ve got to replace it with something,” West said. “If people want to keep their kid on insurance at 26, fine. We’ve got to make sure no American gets turned back for pre-existing conditions, that’s fine. Keep the doughnut hole closed, that’s fine.

Col. West said this? I think he meant to say that if a private insurer wants its customers to be able to keep children up to age 26 on their policies, or create their own risk-friendly policy that allows people to buy immediate coverage without regard to pre-existing conditions, they're allowed to assume that risk and cost, on their own.

Surely he doesn't believe that the constitution allows the fedgov to impose such a law controlling the internal risk-based decisions of a private company in free enterprise.

And the RINO Renaissance shifts leftward... I have no confidence that this monstrosity will be repealed, even if the Republicans take Congress and the Presidency.

The real problem is the laws that make “socialized medicine” and mandatory insurance the remedy. For example, hospitals being legally obligated to treat some patients who cannot pay.
