Actually, one of the things which best distinguishes conservatives from liberals is that conservatives don't obsess with politics 24/7/365.

We have real lives, containing other interests such as baseball, bluegrass music, model railroading, gardening, tweaking our barbecue sauce recipes....and for some, Amelia Earhart.

Back in the day, Free Republic was a great place to go to discuss all those things with like minded people who also happened to be conservative. I miss that. Miss it a lot.
