If you're taking a refreshing dip in a pool with four other people, odds are one of you is urinating. This is not gross-out myth, but cold, depressing fact from a recent survey conducted by the Water Quality & Health Council, a scientific research group sponsored by the American Chemistry Council.

The survey, conducted in April, asked nearly 1,000 adults whether they urinate in pools. One in five bravely admitted their mistakes. And those are the ones who admitted it.

My daughters and grandkids pee in their wet suits, when they surf/bogie board, they all claim that’s how its done. Have you heard of that?

Its not necessary for any other than obvious reasons - paddling in, climbing out of the wetsuit and seeking a bathroom is not really an option.

Peeing in the ocean attracts sharks, so what you 'feel' might not be guilt, but a sense of primordial instinct for danger.

As for the corn floating in public pools, I always thought someone nearby was feeding pigeons..

And; public hot tubs, as in MOTEL HOT TUBS, are the worlds’ finest place to grow a big, juicy, infectious culture.
