A blue ribbon panel of experts reviewing the deadly crash at last year's National Championship Air Races in Reno is making a number of recommendations to make the event safer but none would prevent the competition from continuing as scheduled in September, officials told The Associated Press.

Probably won’t move the stands.
They’ll move the pylons 200 feet further away from the stands so they can get 1000 foot dead line instead of the current 800.
None of the recommendations would have saved Jimmy and if the mechanical failure that instigated the accident had occured a few seconds sooner or later the carnage may not have occurred.
I’m going again this year...they have to have a Sunday final, it’s been 2 years without a true champion (ie Rare Bear!)

The blue wheel pants was her tribute to Al Goss, T-6 pilot of "Warlock" who was killed when Warlock went down near it's home field.
Even the formula one pilots had a tribute, this is "Knottygirl"
