If he follows the same pattern as the Republican candidates that began a freefall like this in the primaries, in another month he will be in hopeless territory by the numbers according to Intrade.

Is it still early enough for a change in venue?

It’s time to donate and end this FReepathon or we’ll be sitting on the sidelines with no voice in November.

Huh? Zero is still close - at 57.5% compared to Mittens at 38.7. What am I missing? Last I checked (about a month ago) Zero was close to 60%

Those markets are useless as a predictor of outcomes. They just rise or fall with how the ‘winds’ are blowing, or with the poll numbers in general. They were interesting the first year or so.

In 2008 I called Obama a one-term wonder who would preside over a sour economy his entire term. Its the economy, stupid. People say he can’t lose to Romney. He isn’t running against Romney. He is running against an economic depression and doesn’t stand a chance of re-election.

Why would the numbers drop so much today and not over the weekend after the gay-marriage flip flop?

Obama's popularity has always been a bubble waiting to pop. Once the average voter sees that Obama isn't "cool", and is in fact a complete douchebag, that's something that you can't un-see.

Thanks to the narcissistic incompetence of the Obama camp, people are starting to see this truth in large numbers.

The tumble continues. Today achieved another low water mark.

Another low water mark today.

for those of you that are still doubters...you’d best start watching what’s going on. This tumble to oblivion does not appear to be temporary. It is steady and persistent and regular. I do not think this is a blip.

check back in 5 days and see for yourselves. Then in another 5 days.

My ignorant opinion is he is headed for 40% and once he gets there he will never see 50% again and will lose the election in an embarrassing loss.

Here it is, half a month later, and the trend is still slowly marching forward. Romney got above 40% today.

The wisconsin elections appear to have caused a big shift in the intrade numbers. Romney has shot up to 44 and obama has dropped to 52. At this rate, they will be tied this time next week. When Sarah Palin said “Obama’s Goose is cooked” in response to the wisconsin elections, I think she was justified.

Time to start looking at intrade again. Trading volume is up and it looks like the numbers are on the move with a potential big shift coming.

That’s a nice steady rise...but I think a short term spike is about to happen.

Intrade is going nuts lately. It does not appear to be a momentary glitch anymore. Obama’s numbers are going sky high. I can’t figure it out. Either the polls are way off and the people are on to it, or Intrade is turning into a joke.

Ok, this is getting really silly. Intrade still has Obama going up at a crazy rate. At this rate he will be at 100% sometime next week and then Romney can call off the election and go home. LOL. This has got to be a temporary glitch because it just does not make any sense. As I type this intrade has Obama at 75.8%.

What data car you possible be looking at? Obama has had a spectacular climb - now over 75% compared to Mittens at 25% - and just coming back from there I do not see any decrease in the climb from yesterday to today. Please tell me what you are looking at? I went here
