A lot of weight rides on the name you choose for your kid. And every year when the Social Security office releases the data on the most popular baby names, parents get upset. As a Michele who faced the extreme popularity of my name way back when, I'm here to tell you that if your child's name is on this list, it's going to be just fine. In fact, take pride in knowing your baby name choice won't be ridiculed.

Acquaintace named her baby ZuZu which I understand it one of the upcoming hip names.
It will be the “Tiffany” of it’s time...a real stripper name.
My surprise was that Jessica didnt make the cut.

The “J” names are starting to fade.
I have a friend who, when he was a hospital chaplain, tried to talk a woman out of the name Meconium. (Look it up.) Mom just liked the sound of it.

It is doubtful that the child will be associating with people who know the meaning of the word, except during sporatic visits to the ER.

Nevaeh is heaven spelled backwards. It’s become a common name recently. Perhaps because people think their baby girl is a bit of heaven given to them? Wonder why people pick certain names?
It’s easier just to spell Skittles.
Like “Skittles Parker”.

I was in high school with a guy named Dick back in the 80s. Boy did he get teased. Betcha he goes by Rick nowadays though.
Even in the 60s parents HAD to know they were saddling him with a mockable name.
Nah, it needs at least one apostrophe in there: T'raVon, or better, T're'von
