Hideous to the point of verging on demonic.
The Conquistadores did the world a favor by destroying as much of these things as they did.

Another GGG point of interest? They’re certainly fascinating to me as a painter and art historian.

Fifty years from now: Islam did the right thing when they brought their Sharia law and religion to America. Slaughtered all those infidels with their i pods, i phones , plasma TVs, satanic movies and by and large their whole culture. Now we live under the protection of Allah, praise be his name. No more Christians spreading their lies. Ah, but they did die valiantly. (sarcasm of course)

Children of the Plumed Serpent = Children of the Corn.
Think: “Lord of the Flies”.

Did anyone see the Mel Gibson film
Apocalypto (2006)? I did and it was about this time period, JUST before the landing of the Spaniards. Good movie.
One can find it in the
foreign films section as it is all in the native dialect of those Indians.
Naturally, Hollyweird didn't like it because it showed the Indian culture as it was, blue paint and human sacrifice, all of it.

Don’t diss San José’s God sculpture.

***Did they eat dogs too?****
According to Bernal Diaz, Montezuma often ate part of the human sacrifices. Bernal Diaz was unsure if the Spanish were fed of these sacrifices or not.

Yes, they ate dogs. They even had a breed of dog esp. bred for eating (Chihuahuas?).

No, mostly people rolled down the stairs after their hearts had been ripped out. Kinda like a food stamp, read Prescott.
