Jaw dropping, high-speed, brakeless journey down the mountain. Austrian downhill coaster is nevertheless terrifying. The coaster located Mieders, Austria, starts at the top of a mountain, reachable by a cable car.

Why would you want brakes when you can just roll right off to either side?
Let’s not and say we did! LOL.
BTW, I love hairpin curves...Blue Ridge Parkway on a Harley is nice.
Outstanding! I’d do it, but most likely use the brake some.
"Hell I'd ride it! if you want to slow down, just stick your ears out like this!"
I would ride that thing in a heartbeat.
If I remember correctly, these things were built to help people get home, after spending the day working in the mountains.
I`d love to live in Switzerland or Austria. They always comes across as countries that are simply enjoyable to live in.
That’s ridiculous!
Awesome!!!
“OK Beavis, now push this thing back up there so I can try it”
I’d soil my raiment, but that looks like a hoot!
Oh, have I got a road for you.
RT 9 from Berkeley Springs to Paw Paw WV.
Enjoy the spectacular, plummeting views over the mountainside and try to ignore the missing sections of rusted guard rail....where there even *is* a guard rail.
:)
A prehistoric version of this is what got Oetzi the Iceman. He went flyin’ off on a curve and crashed into that crevasse, then the glacier covered his carcasse.
I would do it in a heartbeat!!
It looks safer than a roller coaster because you’re lower to the ground, although the passing the trees at MPH present a bit of a hazard.
This was posted a couple of months ago and it is still fun to watch.
This link shows the little car that they are riding down the mountain in. It’s the test run with some beautiful scenery.

It you want a nice extended ride, road trip, head from the east across the Appalachians and into Ohio.
It will get a little less exiting after you clear the foothills, but then head up along the lake to Sandusky Ohio to Cedar Point.
The biggest Roller Coaster Park on the Planet!
Blue Ridge Parkway on a Harley is nice.”
Would that be Blue Ridge Parkway in KCMO/Lee’s Summit area?
Looks like fun - but it’s so long. The guy on the bike is looking to be an organ donor.
That’s too cool!!
You should go to Maui, Hawaii and take the road to Hana. Narrow two lane road, sharp 180 degree switchbacks through the hilly rainforest along the coast. You can come suddenly nose to nose with a car at one of the many narrow one lane concrete bridges.
