Children in California will still be able to get toys with their Happy Meals.
A San Francisco judge has dismissed a proposed class-action lawsuit that sought to stop McDonald's Corp. from using toys to market its meals to children in the Golden State.

The toy is the only edible thing in a Happy Meal :-)
They have better coffee than Starbucks tho ;), I’ll give em’ that.

I don’t understand. I thought the Board of Supervisors had made it illegal in the City and County of SF to include toys with kids’ meals.
So why would CSPI be suing to make it illegal?
This was a suit to bar toys with Happy Meals, state-wide.
...but doesn’t everybody make better coffee than Starbucks?

My understanding of this was that they made it illegal for McD to "give away" the toys with the meal. McD got around that by charging an extra minimal charge (not sure if it was 1 or 10 cents) for the toy with the meal.
