Australian expatriate Paul Hogan returned Down Under last week to attend the funeral of his mother, and now he cant leave the country because he owes millions in back taxes, the Associated Press reports. The 70-year-old Crocodile Dundee star now lives in Los Angeles with his wife (and former co-star) Linda Kozlowski and 12-year-old son, Chance, but they didnt make the trip with him. These may not be the appropriate circumstances to effectively make Paul a prisoner of Australia, his lawyer Andrew Robinson tells Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio. Australian tax officials have been investigating reports that Hogan hid earnings from his surprise film career in offshore bank accounts, and late month claimed he owed taxes on the equivalent of $34 million American dollars. Hogan has denied the claims, and is "stunned and disappointed" by the legal manuever, according to a statement from Robinson's law firm.

Hypothetically.
Exit points to the country simply demand your Social Security Number at the gate to run your tax return before letting you leave.
The irony would be if you cannot leave the country for medical treatment because you aren’t in Obamacare or refuse to pay the healthcare fine.
What was this an image of? The Berlin wall?
