I'm in the market for a new job, and I noticed today that the local Big Lots has an ad out for a store manager. I'm curious to know if anyone here works for the company- if so, how is the company to work for? What would be a reasonable salary to expect as a store manager? Is the company full of O-bots in the upper levels? General stuff like that :)
Sort of curious why Big Lots sells furniture.
The size of the pre-existing stores doesn’t allow for a whole lot.
One thing our store did to make room for the furniture was to eliminate hanging racks of clothes.
Don’t think the one in Littleton CO where daughter lives, sells furniture.
So, where on Long Island is BIL?
I’m Lawn Guyland raised (I never pronounced it like that)!
But have not lived there for over 40 years. Relatives remain, however.
For me, the best swimming ever is in the Long Island Sound, on the north shore. Any amount of great beaches. Those were the days!
Managed to get in about 3 hours at ‘Sunken Meadow Beach’ just a few years ago.
Never did take to the Pacific Ocean here - - -
