Norton N. Bonaparte, Jr. has been the city manager of Sanford, Florida since September 2011. Prior to Sanford, Mr. Bonaparte served as the city manager of Topeka, Kansas, city administrator of Plainfield, New Jersey, the city business administrator of Camden, New Jersey, the township manager of Willingboro, New Jersey, and the city manager of Glenarden, Maryland.
Mr. Bonaparte has taught graduate public management courses at Rutgers University and undergraduate courses in management at National-Louis University's School of Management and Business. He also served as a principal instructor for the University of Kansas' Emerging Leaders Academy.
Mr. Bonaparte has been elected a Fellow in the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA), a prestigious organization chartered by the U. S. Congress that elects a limited number of individuals with distinguished records of performance as either a practitioner or a scholar in public administration and management.
He is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and has earned it's Credentialed Manager designation. He serves on the ICMA "Managers who Teach" subcommittee. He is also a member of the Florida City County Management Association and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators. He has been elected president of both the New Jersey Municipal Management Association and the Maryland City/County Management Association and was a board member of the Kansas Association of City/County Management.
Mr. Bonaparte holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Masters in Public Administration from Cornell University's Graduate School of Business.
No. Mr. Bonaparte is more qualified to be President than Obama. He’s had the experience and the education to manage government.

He said that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon.
Trayvon Martin is a young black shot and killed in Sanford, Florida.
Obama is a Black man that plays the race care incessantly.
During his 2008 campaign he once said he doesn’t look like the other president on the dollar bills.
The president is doing all he can to win reelection by stoking race hate and to keep focus off of his record.
Sanford, where Trayvon was shot and killed, is being blasted for being racist in it’s handling of the shooting.

So I wrote that if Obama had a Dad he’d look like The manager of Sanford Florida!

By cosmic coincidence, I know Mr. Bonapart (I’m from Topeka). He did a decent job, and I certainly don’t have an axe to grind; but, his record is not perfect. He just started his job in Sanford, because he was let go from Topeka. He didn’t do anything wrong...but, coincidentally, he was criticized for mishandling a situation (employees recycled pipe and pocketed the money). Bonapart is very cautious; and, I can see that trait front and center in this case. I worked with him a few times, and I was generally impressed...but trust me, he is not the shining example hinted at in this thread...just a run of the mill city manager.
All that matters in this case is that he look like either Obama’s father or son.
That alone is what the entire case is based on.
