I’m a frequent user of facebook, and a guy so pretty much definitely not in either of your categories. Sounds to me like you need a higher class of facebook friends, facebook is like a sewer, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it.
I may not be accurately conveying what the situation is. Maybe what is happening is the type of people I find un-appealing are frequent contributors to FB while the type of people more like myself are infrequent contributors(like myself). So the times I do choose to get on FB and have a looksee, it appears to be a cesspool.
I suppose I could dig into the FB options and settings and figure out a way to suppress some of the crap. I’ll try that another day.
