Breaking: election fraud? Why did ABC-TV post Illinois GOP Primary results 24 hours early?!

Posted tonight – MONDAY, March 19th – on the web site of Chicago ABC News Affiliate WLS-TV are the following election results, clearly labeled as “Illinois Races, Federal Offices”. If we have this wrong, please let us know why this information exists in ANY form. Or, if we are indeed living in a banana republic, copy that. You now have our blessing to move out of the country.

The time stamped screen shot from my computer, on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 11:29 p.m. CST is posted below.

**UPDATE: Some time around 12:40 a.m. CST on Tuesday morning the web page (original link below) with the election data you see here was removed from the WLS-TV website.

It looks like someone was testing the web page software as that is a rather unlikely outcome.

They were probably just testing with page with a bogus dataset. Nothing to get worked up over.

FWIW, when we did election coverage at the paper I worked at, we would ‘test’ our website prior to the election to be sure that code/scripts etc. worked right election night. This of course required posting fake results. But it was done ‘behind the scenes’ and that section of the site had no public access.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...but knowing this crew I’d definitely question it.

Clearly a test— Newt is unlikely to get 28% in Illinois, or anywhere close.

Agreed, but it does provide a basis for conspiracy theory in the event of the unlikely.

Uh, they were testing the website. No conspiracy here at all.

Just checking to make sure it looked fine etc.

I will pay every member of FR 1,000 bucks if these results come to pass.

Yep, testing but they screwed up by letting it get onto the public view.

They've done this a lot lately. They did it in 2008, IIRC. Just testing the software.. although why they let it out on the "external" internet, I've not a clue.

To post to a live server/production, all that would have been required is to name candidates ‘Test_1’ or to have an announcement on the page or ahead of time.

In any event, this should never have gone to a production server that is seen by the public.

One doesn’t test that online, but on local. I cannot believe it was just a test.

The elections so far have been a disaster. Democrats openly skewed the results in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, large fraud in the caucuses ... Neither Romney nor Santorum were qualified in the Illinois primary ... They made a deal ... I’m disgusted with the whole thing.

Don’t freak out, this has been going on for years. I have good friends who are in the media business...EVERY election authority and media distributor of election results sends out “test” results to print and broadcast subscribers....just to make sure the system is working properly.

These are not meant to be used for anything other than to verify results can be received.

A good analogy would be saying “Check, 1-2-3. Can you hear me in the back?” into a microphone before a performance.

I expect Santorum to do much better than the last PPP poll, but an outright win is a bit much to believe. Also, Gingrich will likely carry half or less than what the posted results indicate.

The guy who made the video and screencaps said it’s a conspiracy to keep Ron Paul from being elected. He knows this because Ron Paul speaks before standing room only crowds, and that proves he should be winning the election. He even said that “they” would probably claim these premature election results were just a product of ABC testing. Are you a NWO neocon globalist, or what?

Illinois is a tall order. Yes there will be fraud but it won’t benefit Santorum or Gingrich.
