Every “conservative” talk radio host I’ve heard during this primary season has been pushing Romney.

Every last stinking one of them, from top to bottom. Usually it’s subtle, below the surface but effective.

Why? Why are all of them pushing Romney when he is not representative of conservatism?

It’s no wonder Romney is so far ahead. I always thought Boortz was a Conservative. My, how that title is thrown around these days.

He states: “ The candidate I would most like to see become president. That would be Newt Gingrich. He’s brilliant. He’s solutions-oriented. And more than any other candidate Newt understands where the greatness of America comes from -— and that ain’t government. Newt won Georgia. That’s it. He didn’t finish any better than third in any other Super Tuesday state. Sarah Palin did vote for him in Alaska, but Newt finished 4th in Palin’s home state. Right now his campaign is struggling.”

Yes, because of cowardly men like Boortz and to some degres Mark Levin as well.

Well, this part is definitely true:

The candidate that would be the biggest disaster for the GOP. Rick Santorum, hands down. Come on, folks. Here’s a guy who as much as says that sex is for making babies .. and if you’re not trying to make a baby you should keep it in your pants. Yes, he appeals to the turbos, but he is a complete disaster when it comes to independent voters, especially women. If there is one certainty in this election it is that Santorum cannot … and that is a no-way-in-hell cannot … beat Barack Obama.

Santorum would be an auto-loss - on a massive, landslide defeat scale. We'd lose the House along with it. Mitt would likely lose narrowly, Rick would be absolutely crushed.

Still hoping people come to their senses and get behind Newt. Gingrich is the only alternative at this point, but it seems like the social values voters are determined to make a statement and back Santorum even though he has not even the slightest chance of winning a general election.

Gee Boortz, just lay down and lick the place where your balls used to be while you’re at it.

No surprise, Boortz...
but as to you snidely stating your job is to “say things everyone wants to hear” or whatever...no prob.
I just don’t listen to you!

boortz is an idiot! Today he goes on a rant about how a politician needs to connect with people. He said romney, Newt arent connecting like the great giver of US secrets to china, willy clinton. Yet, the person that connects the best, Sarah Palin, he despises. Get lost boortz.

It’s time for a little rant:

Conservatives lose because they don’t CARE enough. Motivation is not strong enough. They are too busy making a living, taking care of their families, deer hunting, etc.

I work alongside dim activists in every election. They CARE about their causes. It is common to find that they not only contribute money, they use their vacation to walk precincts, and a lot of their time after work goes to meetings and volunteer work.

Here I am in the conservative heart of Texas and I cannot find people who will sign up for full time, PAID positions such as Election Clerk for Early Voting.

We cannot even fill the need for Republican Alternate Election Judges, let alone having enough Poll Watchers. I have had to resort to hiring Democrats to help me run elections. BTW, I have encouraged the honest ones to become Election Judges themselves.

I don’t know about each of you, but I find a lot of “keyboard activists” on our side. Even the most vehement, vocal conservatives I meet just cannot find the time for a bit of volunteering.

Conservative losses are not a mystery or a conspiracy. I have seen what happens on the ground.

As long as this remains the case, we will continue to be led by professional pols like Romney.

Boortz ridicules Christians and is a rabid pro-abortionist.
Doesn’t surprise me that he voted for Romney.

Conservatives believe in things. That makes them by default less cool.

The ultimate in cool, think Johnny Depp, Snoop Dog, James Dean, etc, is NOT CARING. Cool = dispassionate.

People who believe in values are turds in the punchbowl to cool people who just don’t care. Romney doesn’t care too much. He won’t spoil the party.
