I wish Jim Harbaugh was smart enough to go after him.
The 49ers were so close to the SB, I’d think tearing up the team to pay Manning’s huge salary under the cap might be a huge risk.
I’ve had the same back problem as Manning, I can’t imagine getting clobbered by 260 lb guys running 18 miles an hour.
But he’s a very smart guy, and free to do what he likes.
Before last season I would have agreed ... not now, though.
