I am writing to express my disagreement with your decision to stop advertising on the Rush Limbaugh show for comments he made last week. It is my understanding that he has apologized for his comments and to Ms. Fluke. Your decision to pull your advertising in such an abrupt manner was both unnecessary and provocative. I believe you overreacted and as such I cannot in good faith show my support for your biased company and your irrational decisions. I note that Carbonite still advertises on the Ed Schultz program even after Mr. Schultz called Laura Ingraham a "slut". Because of your extreme, and hypocritical, views on civil public discourse, I will not be renewing my two Carbonite subscriptions effective immediately and I will recommend all of my friends and family do the same. I hope you reconsider your decision to participate in this left-wing radical sponsored boycott of Rush Limbaugh. Just remember, you aren't the only online backup company around.
Sincerely, Mike Novak
Should have guessed where they were based. ;)
“Do they have an email contact account? “

If you have Carbonite, as I do, thanks to Rush, click on the icon, then click on “launch InfoCenter” then click on “Support”.
That is where I notified them that I would not renew when
my subscription expires in 87 days.

Letter from CEO David Friends about Rush Limbaugh in defense of the pro-abortionist Fluke.

I just had a popup from Carbonite for installing update.
I will not do it...probably a Trojan horse because I told them
two days ago that I will not renew their crapware.
Are you getting any refund? I signed up for 1 yr & still have six months. I still will get a replacement by the weekend, which is an external drive for backup but still would like some bucks back.
They will refuse to give you a refund. Sue them in small claims court.
Nobody is getting a refund. I’ve seen several people here say they’ve been refused refunds for the unused portions.
My email was much simpler.
“You cancel Rush, I cancel you”
My Carbonite subscription expires in 6 days. I logged in 2 night ago and told them to cancel because I like Rush better than them. Then they sent me a survey and I filled it out with lowest scores. The last question asked what they could do for me to raise the score and I said fire Mr Friend or Freiendly or whatever the CEO name is that published his comments about dropping Rush.
Also logged into my ProFlowers account and cancelled them also and telling them why.
Thanks, just sent notice that my company and I will be dropping Carbonite.
Thanks.
Done and Done.
We need more email addresses on the others.
Has anyone got any? If you have it would save a lot of time.
Thanks in advance.
We need more of 'Breitbart spirit' . And we need it badly.
Where is this list? I actually have liked their service, but need to find a replacement. My year is up soon, and they will be gone before then.
I am canceling mine to Mike.
My account expires March 17. I removed my CC info and sent them an email explaining why I was leaving and will encourage my clients to do the same.
Thank you!
Who is your ISP? I ask because I have Carbonite. About 2 years ago COMCAST, my ISP, switched from McAfee to Norton to provide the FREE anti-viral, firewall, etc. package to their subscribers, so I downloaded the Norton Suite and cancelled Carbonite.
Then, to make it work completely safely, I went to Staples and bought an inexpensive little USB hard drive, hooked it to my ‘puter, and set it up for Norton to automatically back up the files on my ‘puter on a regular basis.
If my computer goes on the fritz, my files are automatically backed-up on the separate hard drive, and can be restored at any time, should that be necessary.
It’s beautiful. And Carbonite can continue to pound sand!
