I'm asking a favor.

Prayers for a dear friend of mine. She fell and broke her hip. Had surgery but developed a staph infection in her leg. Now she is in ICU with lung problems. I know if pneumonia sets in, it's not going to end well. I pray that doesn't happen. At this point, the doctors aren't sure she'll make it. Her name is Linda.

I just spoke with her husband and he can't even go see her as he has a cold/cough so she is pretty much alone. She has always been such a vibrant lady and this is just so hard for her to deal with and she is so frightened of the outcome.

Your prayers would be truly appreciated.

I am so sorry about your friend Linda. I hear so many times that as we age and get a broken hip and sometimes we get pneumonia and thats it for lots of older folks.

I will certainly keep Linda in my prayers, teenie. I lost a best friend 10 years ago and I miss her so much. Sometimes I want to pick the phone up and call Nancy so bad. She and I could share anything and everything. Thinking of you, too!
