DD, I am SO thankful and grateful that the cancer is gone! What a relief. Now, it’s time to fatten you up for the swim suit season!!! (Go to Paula Deen’s site, and make some of her food. She even deep fries her bacon!) ROTF!!!

Be Prepared
March 31, 2012
Just as her friends were doing, my daughter Melissa was busily preparing for adulthood. At school, she was getting ready for college by taking the right courses and had signed up for the ACT college entrance test.
Outside of class, Melissa was learning the socialization skills it takes to get along with people by spending time with friends, classmates, and teammates. At her job, she was learning the relational skills needed for a future career of work. At home, Mell was preparing for future family life by experiencing the way a Christian family would interact.
Getting ready for life as an adult takes work, and Melissa was making good progress.
But none of that preparation was what she would need. In 2002, when she died in a car accident at age 17, the only preparation that mattered was her readiness for heaven.
When the truest test of preparedness came so suddenly on that beautiful June eveningwhen eternitys door opened for Melissashe was prepared. She had put her faith in Jesus and trusted His sacrifice on the cross for her sins (John 3:16; Rom. 5:8-9).
When she faced the ultimate test of being prepared, Melissa was ready. Are you?
Gods time is now, for the days fly fast,
And swiftly the seasons roll;
Today is yours, it may be your last;
Choose life for your priceless soul! Fithian
If death comes today, will you be prepared to meet God?

This was wonderful, yorkie. Remember 33’s albums, I have a couple of those by Floyd Cramer and that song is on them. And of course, my dad was a railroad worker during my lifetime and my brother and I were so lucky to get to ride the trains so much.
We had relatives in Florida and we took the train, of course. Mama would pack delicious food for us to have on the train. We got to ride free but not the food....LOL! I remember two things she always had was fried chicken and always bananas. And other stuff that I can’t remember. It was a great life.
A guy came through the train at bedtime, renting nice big soft fluffy pillows and we would beg for one but Mama said we couldn’t spend the money on that. Times were hard back then. But I’m so glad to have had those experiences.
Memories, ahhhhh!

This world is full of lost and wandering sheep
not knowing that is their condition,
going, by rote, through all their days
blind to the state of being ... each is living.
It is God that calls each one of us to Him,
Do we hear Him? To be His beloved,,
He promises to keep us and not lose one ...
We can and must trust Him with our life,
In Jesus name, amen.

True. True. True.
Cats are not needy, they communicate and actually have quite a bit of patience those with which they live, and cats are great security alerts, they are not visible any time a stranger enters their space. So it is comforting to open the door and see them sleeping in the sun, or looking out the glass door waiting for me. Very grounding.

God gives us life and inspirits us with a desire to live,
We know that our life is a blink of the eye in the time and space of eternity, Hard for us to imagine eternity past and eternity future forever. Thank thee LORD for thy grace, mercy, loving kindness, righteousness, holiness and goodness forever, we praise, love, and honor thee, in Jesus name, amen.

Adorable, Amy! I love "cat quotes" as they're all so true!
Glad you are feeling better today, in other words
I hope you're feeling better anyway! I hate that
