Television audiences will soon get more insight into Palin's Alaska.
Lifetime announced Wednesday that Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp will see a 10-episode run on the network later this year.
Focusing on the former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's daughter's life as a single mother with son Tripp, the series will follow the young Palin's new life in her native Alaska after brushes with fame on Dancing With the Stars.

I guarantee nothing good will come out of this. This will probably end up minimizing Sarah.
Why don’t they give that McCain numbskull daughter instead?
Hey, they figure it is a moneymaker. All the libs that watch it will love to watch and hate.
Cha ching!
Very sad to hear this. Can’t do any good for Sarah’s reputation, but her daughter is old enough to make such decisions for herself. What a dolt.
Greed does strange things to people.
The media will salivate....another distraction for them instead of focusing what is important.
Is she gonna get beaten and raped? Not that I want her to but it’s what happens to most female characters on Lifetime, the Because They Just Won’t Listen network.
She has a shot at some income to help her with raising a child. If it’s put to good use then more power to her. Even if not it’s still her choice.
I suspect the family has or had some input into the process. From the article:
...Though immediate news of the series doesn’t reveal how much of the Palin clan will appear in the docuseries, a release said it will focus on the close relationship she holds with her parents and siblings....
I’ll bet this show either doesn’t make it to broadcast or only an episode or two.
The libs will mount a screaming campaign and the network will pull it.
Watch.
I guess college or a job are just out of the question for this person. Fame must be like heroin.
I’d prefer that she didn’t do this stuff, but it is her life, and she’s an adult. Maybe they figure, like Brietbart, that conservatives have to find a way to influence pop culture. I have to say that I know several apolitical people at work that watched SP’s Alaska. They liked Sarah- where they would normally be only influenced by hollyweird and the libs. We have to face the fact that a big percent of voters spend all year watching reality TV, comedy, etc. Then surface to vote, having no clue, other than what they’ve been fed by pop culture.
I’m not sure why they are agreeing to this, unless they’re planning to use the money for some good cause they deem more important.
A “reality” show is a good way to look like a side-show, and that’s probably why they offered it to them to begin with.
Mind you, I love Billy the Exterminator, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Gene Simmons, and those other shows... but, Bristol Palin? It’s just opening herself up to attacks.
Bristol is a conservative activist and a spokeswoman for life and abstinence.
We want moral conservative messages and advocates making decent, moral shows.
This is good news.
Depends on a lot of things, from programming intent to who has final say over the editing process.
I doubt there hasn't been extremely careful and very thorough contract negotiations over this.
I like Sarah, always have. This is an embarrassment.
I hope Bristol will end up finding a good, decent stepfather for her son, and not one who comes from the Hollywood cesspool.
Yawn! Another reality show.
Agreed.
Enough of the REALITY shows. All of them are hoked up with personal conflicts, insane time constraints, perilous predicaments, etc.
I’m in favor of ACTUALITY shows.
See post 13, Bristol has proven to be a fine woman and has contributed much to our causes.
Something about laying with dogs and fleas comes to mind.
We defended this decent girl against that homosexual activist when it happened, he later apologized for the assault.
Are there other sweet and nice children of conservatives who are dedicated to conservative causes, that you want to attack?
