No problem. You can run just one monitor. You can also get a Y connector cable with one VGA and one DVI if you want an option to a higher quality video image later.
Since I have no idea what you are talking about, I suggest you upgrade to the DMS-60.
If I’m not mistaken, the DMS-60 comes with a Rich Corinthian Leather Interior while the DMS-59 only comes with Leatherette.
It's really dependent on your graphics driver. If you have Windows XP, it's likely that you can use a single monitor. Windows will realize that you have only a single monitor plugged in, and will put your desktop on it.
In the unlikely event that it doesn't do that, you can simply right click on the desktop, select "properties", and then the "settings" tab.
Select the monitor you want, and make sure that the "use this device as my primary monitor" box is checked. Select the other monitor, and turn OFF the checkbox labeled "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor".
And you admitted to that on an open forum. Ritual suicide is the only honorable path open to you.
Be honest, you're running Windoze 95, aren't you?

You can run one monitor.
There is a good chance the person you got this from has the splitter or adapter still attached to his monitor. If not, it will cost about $10+S&H.
