Murdoch on Santorum: 'Win Michigan Game Over'
By MAGGIE HABERMAN | 2/20/12 Rupert Murdoch's latest tweet on the GOP race a few minutes ago:
From distance, Santorum doing great. Values really do count in America, and not sneered at as in parts of Europe. Win Michigan game over.
No..not hardly! The game is being played by the media and they will not let this happen (neither will the other candidates).
It’d be game over for Romney. Not game over meaning a Santorum win.
You may be onto something. The media is now going after Santorum calling him “extreme,” “homophobic,” “anti-Protestant,” and “anti-women’s rights.”
So win a state that went to Barack Obama in 2008 and it’s “game over.” Sounds logical. The GOP should have ended the primary when New Hampshire went to Romney.
That’s what I took from the comment. Over for Romney, not Santorum. The irrelevant and fraudulent Donald Trump thinks Santorum is easy picking for Obama.
Game over? No.
However, it will force Romney to fight the rest of the way with a broken jaw.
The GOP should have ended the primary when New Hampshire went to Romney.
..................
How would they have done that?
Yes, actually it is media driven, mostly by their antagonistic view of any such thing as values.
We can only hope that most of America has become wise to their efforts and propaganda.
I keep thinking just how can this many people continue to fall for the Media’s lies. It does seem that maybe the Media knows more than we do - that most of America are really uneducated when it come to politics.
They do seem to keep voting for anybody that will promise them the world. Can they really be so ignorant? Guess we will see if it continues to happen for the coming election.
“How would they have done that?”
I was using sarcasm.
In that case carry on good sir or Madam.
[The irrelevant and fraudulent Donald Trump thinks Santorum is easy picking for Obama.]
As does the fraudulent Daxton Brown. Mr. Rogers in the neighborhood nagging all the sinners is not going to fly in the general.
VOTE FRAUD
Santorum will not win in Nov. He will not even carry Pennsylvania. Icannot understand how people on this forum can think he can win. He will be turned into the devil by the democrats and the media.

You forgot “racist”.
The media (specifically See-BS) has already smeared Santorum as being racist by claiming he said things that he provably did not.
But that’s how the media operates.
ANYONE who runs as a Republican will be turned into the devil by the DemocRats and the media. Santorum will not be treated any differently than any of the others.
>>ANYONE who runs as a Republican will be turned into the devil by the DemocRats and the media.
While this is true, there is one candidate in the remaining field who has shown an ability to get a message out around the media, and to take on the media when necessary.

You mean the candidate who’s now polling in the basement because he’s so unpopular? Newt?
It really does get old all the infighting. I can accept people being against Romney because he’s no conservative. However the way Gingrich supporters go after a legitimate conservative like Santorum really is distasteful.
Personally I like Newt and Santorum. However the public doesn’t like Newt and it’s been showing. Whether this is a function of his past, his mouth, or mud slung by Romney et al, it doesn’t much matter. His negatives are sky high, and he’s not good enough to get around that. He hasn’t made an inch of progress since Florida.
So while I appreciate that people like Newt because he’s got some good ideas, and can communicate them, that is not going the distance. Trashing the conservative who might actually beat Romney (and hopefully the O), is not helping our cause.
