This place gets reviews that range from raves to scowls.
I used to love this place in the early eighties.
I used to get this plate of korean ribs asian bbq beef and bbq fish with rice for like $5
The loco moco was great too.
I was just wondering if anybody else out there had eaten at this dive and what they thought of the place.
Millions of military have been served.

I remember Chuck’s celler (steak house), and La Paloma (mexican) on Kapiolani many years ago. It was very good.
Tony Roma’s was there early on, too. Not sure what is there these days.

I remember Anna Miller’s Fine Pies. It was sort of like Shoney’s but they had the best strawberry pies on the planet. I don’t think it’s in existence any more. It was right across the street from the Pearl Ridge Shopping Center. Last time I was there was in 1995, which was the last time I was in Hawaii. I made a special trip to go to Anna Miller’s.

Yeah, I worked in Albion, too. Radio station now defunct. In Marshall, we called it “Little Africa.” Guess why....

Vermont. You poor soul. It took years to turn my husband into a true conservative. He likes Newt, but will vote Santorum. He also said to beat obama he will vote for romney. I told him I’m going third party if I must. I think he will too because he hates holding his nose.

I was born in Albion once Doctor Keefer sobered up enough to realize that my mother wasn’t there for a vasectomy.

I loved that place! I’d go retire there but it’s populated by my old classmates, who are all pricks.

Thank God for that. I had ideals like a democrat when I was young, but never voted. When I became a Christian I started to use my brain and could distinguish between propaganda and the truth, so I became a conservative. My husband thought I was too right wing. When he finally became a Christian, God slowly opened his eyes.

If you’re 20 and a not a democrat you have no heart, if you are 35 and a democrat you have no brain.
Or something to that effect LOL

I have to punch out to post the weekly Gun Talk Thread.
Apparently no one shares my love of the dive called Byron’s in Honolulu Hi
There are a million better places to eat on the island, but I have a soft spot for Byron’s.
They fed a poor Sailor well

Of course.......many times. Byron's was better than Zippys.
Aloha My!
I was reading down the thread and noticed Mexican cuisine came up. Have you ever gone to Tacos Azteca in Waikiki? They specialized in steak tacos and other things, were cheap and didn't habla Ingles.
