Burma. That’s where Vinegar Joe asked for 105 steps per minute from his troops on their tactical retreat out of Burma.
Joe led them out and the British were amazed when Joe loaded his staff into their transport planes and he didn’t get in with them.
When I go hiking I love to count my steps and wonder if I am worthy of Joe’s respect
