Whitney Houston’s family held a private viewing Friday at the Whigham Funeral Home in advance of the pop icon’s funeral this weekend.

Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, 18, appeared at the private viewing. It was the first time she saw her mother since she died.

What in the hell does Whitney Houston have to do with Jesse Jackson?
There is an always some old saying that covers just about everything.
The one pertinent to your question is:
“Birds of a feather flock together.”
I was commenting on the funeral, what the hell.
I didn’t watch any of it, but on the news I saw a clip and thought that was Jackson in the front. What the hell was he doing there ?
I guess I missed the part of her life where JJ was a close personal friend deserved to be seated up front where the cameras wouldn’t miss him. Insufferable turd. A friend was at a NBA basketball game and Jackson was a few seats over. Some poor women had a medical emergency and he rushed to assist, once the cameras showed up. It could have been a noble gesture, though he has no medical emergency training I know of, but when he jumped to the other side of the stretcher to insure he was in the camera shot, all suggestions he was just helping flew out the window.
He’s an indecent POS and that story about him rubbing MLK’s blood on his collar to make it look like he was right there when King was killed, I believe every word of it. King didn’t like him and told a number of people he was an opportunist, using the civil rights movement to build a career as much, if not more, than for the cause.
He was there sitting up front in one of the nice hairs facing the audience. He wasn’t a pallbearer and I have no idea why he was given such a prominent seat. Guess the Houston family thinks he’s worth the exposure.
I wondered the same thing about Jesse Jackson being there. I waited for him to speak, but I don’t think he ever did.
But he did look very uncomfortable most of the time. He didn’t applaud when everybody else did. He didn’t smile, either, as far I could tell. Probably the same discomfort unbelievers always have in the presence of true believers and true holiness.
I’m interested to see that Jesse showed up.
The other two members of the axis of racebaiting (Sharpton and Blowprah) showed up the day after she died.
I was wondering if Jesse’s private jet was in the shop or something.
My guess is that he demanded to sit there and they caved.
Here are some of the facts about MLKs death by the author of Shakedown, Ken Timmerman... Shakedown exposes Jackson for the huckster he is.
A: Jesse Jackson was not up on the balcony. They even tried to show the picture of Jesse Jackson up on the balcony with Martin Luther King. That picture was taken the day before. It was a publicity shot.
He was not up on the balcony with Martin Luther King. He was down in the parking lot talking to a bunch of musicians – Ben Branch and others. When the shots rang out, he fled and hid behind the swimming pool area and reappeared 20-30 minutes later when the television cameras arrived on the scene. That’s when Jesse Jackson told other Southern Christian Leadership Conference staffers, “Don’t you talk to the press whatever you do.”
Q: We know there were pictures all over the place of Jesse with blood on his shirt. Given that Jesse was in the parking lot when Dr. King was shot, where did that come from?
A: The next morning, he flew to Chicago and went on the NBC “Today Show.” In the meantime, he had hired a public relations agent. So here is a guy who is in such grief from Martin Luther King’s assassination that he comes back to Chicago and has the presence of mind to have himself taken from interview to interview in a chauffeur-driven car with a P.R. agent. The P.R. agent takes him to the NBC “Today” show, he appears in a shirt that he claims is smeared with Dr. Martin Luther King’s blood and he says on national television, “He died in my arms” – an absolute, patent lie.
The guy is a total fraud.
Christie is an empty vessal of humanism. Who are you to judge the character of a famous drug addict versus a Marine who sacrificed his life for freedom?
Christie is not so hateful and “crass” as to make such character judgements. He’s evolved. A smart person from the North East. He’s a social progressive, aka, a cultural regressive.
I have been hearing a lot about this Whitney Houston. Who is she?
“She had a great voice, she was a drug addict and now she’s dead.”
You forgot something.
