I went in for a general check up and was asked if I was suicial. Huh? Sure, I always go in to make sure I’m healthy enough to slash my wrists.
My kids were asked if there were guns in the house and got a lecture about it. Smart kids rolled their eyes. That doctor is no longer at the clinic.
Once they get it completely going there won’t be any asking.
Some Political appointee will be making that decision for you before the EMTs even arrive.
No doubt they will be reviewing your files...
“Oh I see he is a registered Republican...”
reaching for phone
“This is the Health registry Ministry, this is a DNR patient, administer two asprin and collect the 500 dollar copay”.
I wouldn’t get too excited about that. It isn’t 0bamacare... It is something that everyone should do. It is the most basic part of a ‘Living Will / Advanced Healthcare Directive” and EMTs and ER docs are glad to have the information.
Simply tell them what you want them to do.
Do you vant to sign ziss Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) Order?

“If paramedics are called to your house because of a medical emergency, do you want to be revived?”
Will Zero still be in office?

The advance directive is a bit hard to read and sign but it's generally in the best interests for your own health and yes your mortality which shows doctors and nurses just how far to go in your desire to recover, or to be left as a DNR( Do Not Resuscitate). I am no statinjg Obamacare may take this to an extreme but in this portion I think it's in most folks interests to have one and yes, as a person noted the Living Will. One need not have both but if in an accident and if severe then it's imperative the doctor or doctors follow your desires/needs.
It's one of our rights to a quality of life, and in this case the quality and care of our mortality in death. Again however to restate, I have no idea what Obama's death panels are and am as concerned about this issue as the rest that post in this area. It's a real "life and death" issue and should not be taken lightly.
