comal county [Texas] blues
Comal District Attorney's Office | 2/2/12 | comal county blues

These people are unfair and manipulate the judicial system. Jennifer Tharp should not be re-elected.

I think this has to do with the “no reusable container” ban on the Comal River. It also limits cooler size.

What "original post"? All that was posted by the original poster was and is:

Like someone has already mentioned, he/she probably ran afoul of the law and is pissed.

Liberals holler "unfair".

I'd say over 20 Freepers in Comal County. I personally know of 3 Hard Core, donating Freepers. Comal County is very Conservative. I build PC’s for the citizens of Comal County and I put a Free Republic ICON on every Desktop I build. Changing the world 1 PC at a time. I happen to like our DA too. She was not involved in the recent dustup over the Ban the Can issue, that would be Ken Valentine, the Recalled District 6 New Braunfels City Council member- HE is the problem.

I’m not a resident, but am a taxpayer on a residential lot on Rebecca Creek on the northwest side of Canyon Lake.

While I hold no brief for the bozos who leave their trash on the river, I personally hate the absolute ban on containers and the Nazi way it has been enforced.

One of the greatest gifts God afforded to Texans is a float down the Guadalupe on a sunny day with your girl in one hand and a cold Lone Star in the other.

Good times don’t get no better than that.

Who do you suggest that should be elected. Don’t be shy and name your candidate.

I suspect corbe has it right. This sounds like a court case that didn’t go CCB’s way.
The only cases about the river are civil cases and city court cases. I don’t think even Stoney’s ticket for a normal-sized cooler would have been in Jennifer’s court.

I don’t think Jennifer has an opponent this year, unless someone files when the Courts get around to setting our primary date, our district maps, and all of their other messin’ with our lives.

20 would be a lot from a county with only 108k residents.

Used to live in NE San Antonio: was a regular at the lake, at the springs, in New Braunfels, and occasional river canoe paddler.
