Where do these people go after they are thrown out of their tent cities? Hard time figuring out just who they are.
There is no camping in DC’s parks. This mess should have been stopped in it’s infancy. The first turd who showed up with a tent should have been moved along that night.
It would have never been a prob;lem if they had just enforced the law from the beginning.

These people told our local NBC affiliate that they will NEVER leave MacPherson Square. They said that they’ll return. This is by no means “over”.
In DC, not even the homeless can stay in the parks overnight.
This specific park is right in front of the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and a friend of mine who works there says that the filth, bad odor, feces & garbage can be smelled for blocks. Disgusting!
