Corrupting the Girl Scouts

It's time to resolve the problem at the top and quit picking on the kids, in hopes some vague message trickles up.

Are you among those upset with the Girl Scout promotion of Planned Parenthood and boys joining Girl Scout because parents nurture the confusion of a 7 year old?

There's been a recent campaign on the internet, to show those Girl Scouts just how upset we are by boycotting the annual drive to raise money for the Girl Scouts, buy refusing to buy their cookies.

After all, 90% of the proceeds go to the upper strata of Girl Scout Management. So, after all the brave posting, promoting the boycott, how many of you have actually been able to look into the eyes of those young Girl Scouts and turn them away?

Or maybe you're really committed and you've explained to them that they have corrupt adult management......?

We need a national campaign to replace Girl Scout management and policies. It's time to overcome the bullying of the ACLU and the anti-American, anti-Christian culture, seeking to destroy all that is right with America.

If “hard work” means giving the order sheet to Mom or Dad so they can take it in to work to shake down their co-workers, then I guess that’s the lesson they are learning. Thst’s how the Scouts sell cookies in my neck of the woods.

I don’t buy cookies that way. Every once in a GREAT GREAT GREAT while a Girl Scout will come to my door to sell cookies and I will buy from her. I love me some Samoas.

Yes, a donation to the troop is a great alternative and actually gives the troop a lot more money than buying the cookies.

We always had "cookie booths" - outside of local businesses. The girls that participated in manning the booth got to split the total boxes of the day's sales. So it wasn't just mom and dad selling at work.

I don't agree with Girl Scouts being involved with PP. I have no idea how it can be changed. But, I do see how the local kids and their leaders work at making scouting a good experience and don't want them to get hurt in order to strike back at the upper levels.

Supporting or taking part in the GS is aiding and abetting leftism, in particular homosexualism and abortion. The GS are now an official arm of the immoral Left and their assault on the innocence of children.

However the parents do hear form me about it but I put it in a nice way and respectful way.

As for some who say they boycott but don’t , well it is fact and sad.
If conservatives did what the left has been doing then we would have stopped this agenda years ago and forced companies, group;ps, churches to never allow this homosexual agenda get promoted

There are several other girl scout type organizations - Campfire Girls, Heritage Girls and I think a couple more. Manc was looking into one of them for his daughter.

Well I’m sure there are still some hold-out troops. Good for them, but look at the organization as a whole. Our church went to Royal Rangers for the boys and Mpact Girls’ Club. These are Christ-centered clubs.

I’m sure there are “good” planned parenthood chapters that don’t actually perform abortions and just do mammograms and birth-control pills for low income women. I’ll still be damned if I’ll buy their cookies, even if they sell Samoas.

Sorry sweetheart, I cannot buy your cookies. Yes, it is true that I give the Boy Scouts over $1000 every year, but the people that run the Boy Scouts are not the same kind of people that now run the Girl Scouts.

The Girl Scouts national leadership has been taken over by some of the most evil kinds of people on Earth. They are people at war with Christianity, Family Values, and Liberty. They support Socialism, sexual perversion, and killing babies. They like to use politically correct terms for these things, like Progress, Gay Rights, and Planned Parenthood.

None of these things have any business being part of the National Agenda of the Girl Scouts, but evil wins when good people don’t fight it. Some will tell you that you shouldn’t concern yourself with such things. Guess who they want to hide behind and which side of the issues they are on...

I cannot and will not support such evil, and you should not either, nor should you let them hide behind your innocence. There are other groups you can join, that are not controlled by such evil people.

I don’t want to support the GS uppper managment or their political activism, but do want to support the girls in their activities. I offer to send $15 directly to the troop. I just want to be assured that none of the $$ will go to Girl Scout upper level management. I ask the cookie moms “Can you see if your troop would be willing to do that?” Most say yes.
