Yeah, Drudge has had a 24/7 CONSTANT anti-Newt assault going on.

Getting pretty sick of it, myself.

A picture of Matt Drudge pretty much answers that question:

I’m no Newt fan, but this is getting ridiculous. It’s like the Romneybots took over.

Mike Gallagher was talking today about how bad the anti-Newt people are going to look if he wins the primary. I also remember that Ann Coulter was hardly on tv during the 2008.

How come I now like the guy that apparently the “all of the establishment GOP hates” I was against some Reagan policies before I was for them but I only choose to remember the good things in my past. As a good man said it appears we are a rebellion.

It looks like an all out attack against Newt and I am losing interest in drudge report. Romney must have paid off drudge like he paid off nikki haley etc.

ALL of the “conservative pundits” are totally po’ed that we’re thinking for ourselves. Idiots like those of us in the general public aren’t supposed to be able to do that.

Because there is a lot to work with. Seriously. Newt is a bad candidate and an eccentric conservative. He is not the answer.

Unfortunately, neither are Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum or Ron Paul. That’s why this election totally sucks.

Is Newt better than Romney? YES!

Is Newt a good conservative candidate? NO!

But it is what it is.

C'mon. National Review, the Weekly Standard and American Spectator founder Emmett Tyrrell come out with blasts at Newt on the same night, and Drudge is just going to ignore it?

Give Drudge something that would get people to go to his site, and he'd post that, even if it were anti-Romney.

Putting "Newt pledges moon base by second term" up there with the other stories, though, probably does indicate some bias or animus, though.

One Phrase - New World Order

Newt Gingrich is a first-class bomb-thrower and iconoclast. When Newt goes charging in, he has little concern for collateral damage, a bull in a china shop seeems almost delicate and reserved in comparison. In the midst of all this chaos, Newt continues to beam beatifically, because he is the smartest person in the room, and he will fix everything, just wait a minute. Meanwhile to thrashing and scattering continues apace.

Considering what has been thrust upon us over the past three years (five, if you count from the 2006 mid-term election), there are a LOT of people who see the proceedings, and cheer wildly at what they perceive to be Samson straining mightily to push down the columns of the temple that has been erected by the Philistines.
