Yeah, well, you always had a whole lotta love for Sarah Palin too, as I recall.
See ya.
And yet as President would be far and away superior to what we currently have occupying the White House!
I find the political process very frustrating and demoralizing, too. Although I know better, every time I desire a politican with no flaws. I always arrive at that lessor of evils equation.
The lessor of the evils is Newt for this election. Romney is out of the question because he has nothing to offer beyond the evil department. Newt did create a track record of balancing the budget and reform welfare. He is able to verbalize the American-American ideology of economic freedom and individual rights. He did promise to can Agenda 21. He does see Muslims as the terrorist threat and not Americans.
If Newt gets in, we will have to ride him like a wet mule.
I am surprised at how many people think they can just write in who eve they want and do not understand that if a person is not an approved write-in candidate that they invalidate their ballot by doing that. You might as well write in Micky Mouse because that is what you are doing....
Yep he should’ve left when he plunged in the polls and left after Iowa.
Well then when we have Obama 4 more years it will be your fault.
Just an FYI, Perry quit and endorsed Newt.
Also, winter is an excellent time to play the electric guitar, or learning how to play (reading sheet music is not required). There's scores of YouTube videos on learning to play -- I found a neat trick yesterday for playing a Blues Solo with only two strings and four notes. I can also give you some tips one where to buy your equipment if you're a guitar newbie. Plus Fender Guitar Co has Guitars and Amps for all budgets and price ranges. I got a new Fender Blacktop Jaguar HH for X-Mas (guitar #7 for me). Now I'm looking at better Amps than I have, like the Fender Mustang III (100Watts of power). So that would occupy you until spring at least, and playing guitar is fun and very relaxing.
So have a nice 'sabbatical'.
THANK YOU, Texas (155 delegates) & Gov Perry!
GO NEWT!!!
Speaker Gingrich-led Republicans
.the result: * Voting on each of the Contract with America items * Four consecutive balanced budgets * Over $400 billion of debt paid off * Major welfare reform accomplished * 11 million new jobs for America * Unemployment falling to under 4%.
Whenever I see these threads I wonder the same thing.
Good.
The primaries are definitely the crazy season around here.
I don’t think we’re even going to have a primary here in Texas until June thanks to our black robed legislator overlords. That’s apparently our penalty for picking up a few new Congressional districts here in Texas. Our focus should be away from the GOP circular firing squad and towards relieving Obama and his marxist cronies of their duties in November.
More of an opus-lite, I think.
See you later indianrightwinger.((((((Hugs)))))
I’ve taken breaks in the past for similar reasons. I missed all the Giuliani purges last time, and it didn’t hurt a bit. Live your life for a while. You’ve decided, so just live. And maybe keep your TV off for good measure, you’ll find you are much happier. :)
Come back when you are ready.
There is no way I would ever be able to support Newt given so many of his personality flaws
If you are unarmed, and being robbed at gunpoint, and the policeman arrives to save you, do you care whether the policeman cheated on his wife 10 years ago?
Quitter. Get your ass in your car and vote anyone but Obama. If not, bugger off!
