She chooses Journey's "Faithfully". It starts off a little weak, but builds up nicely. The wind machine and fog machine's are both earning their keep tonight. Very nice performance.
$1 says Randy will mention that he was in Journey--and specifically worked on this song.
Randy: You're peaking at the right time in this competition. I'm just so amazed. You've been sleighing it every week. That song is dear to my heart (mentions Journey and Steve Perry--there goes my $1)
J-Lo: Watching your journey got me a little emotional. Watching how much you've grown. Laid back. Ready to share your gift with everybody.
Steven: I've watched you blossom. Creativity is a very fragile flower, but you can make it bloom with positive blah, blah. (He liked it.)
Joshua is up next....(grab your hearing protection!)...When he jumps and yelps around the stage, it makes me think of Little Richard at a Baptist tent meeting.
Hi Jonny!
I was a little disappointed with Hollie’s song. I found it a little boring. But, that’s just me. I really wanted her to do great.
The Steven Tyler Burger King commercial is really funny.
You’re absolutely right!!!
VFTW has no effect on this show. Their hype is completely self-generated.
ROFL!
Who’s that talking?????
Oh dear Lord, the AI tour is coming to KC in July. They just advertised it.
LOL
"Hey every bozo in your basement send me lines I can use, 'cause they sure ain't workin for you."
Yuck, he’s no Josh Groban.
I am not liking Joshuas version of this hymn.....and I know that in about 15 seconds, he is gonna be screaming for someone to rais him UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
Hi Jonny,
I’m not sure what to think of the show so far. The first guy sounded the same, Holly did fine, but I will be just fine not hearing her sing that song again, ditto that for what Joshua is doing.
Yeah, it’s jut okay for me. Very theatrical, but it doesn’t have that nice warmth that Josh Groban has.
SOmewhere, windows are cracking
The mix is not especially good here.... and he had some pitch spots at first.. and a couple of pitch parts at the end...

“You raise me upppppppppppppppppp!!!”
Oh Lawdy, I can’t stand these elongated pronunciations!!
Joshua is lacking emotion, this song is all about the emotions and he just feels flat to me.
