It reminds me of when you go to like a Famous Daves sort of BBQ paper towels on the table instead of napkins type place and they give you a baked potato still in the foil. It has that kind of yellowy charred look and then the butter spills over the sides and the cheese melts a little.
Or maybe I am just hungry.

    Yeah, it wasn’t her best.
Pulling a Paula- she looks incredible tonight. Red is her color.

    >> Seacrest does look a bit wilted tonight.<<
I teased him earlier but the guy is a trooper. I will be amazed if they don’t take him out of the show in an ambulance.
I have heard him called “the hardest working guy in Hollywood” — he is earning that tonight.

I think I may have figured it out......Hollies voice is bigger than her look..if that makes sense...she LOOKS like a teenager...but when she is in full voice, she is far older than her years.
I see her singing on Broaway, not on CDs (or a cruise ship ;-)

Ryan is rying to be the next Dick Clak...and Im guessing at some level, he is telling himself to SUCK IT UP!

Steven: You know what they say about Fat Bottomed Girls--the bigger the cushion ... (the other judges look at him--the FOX censor is scrambles for the mute button) ... the bigger the cushion! (laughs)LOL!

You could do worse than model yourself after the late Mr. Clark. And I agree: Dick Clark was also very relentless — not a lazy bone in his body.

The judges want her out.

Wait, what did you say?

Hollie Cavanagh
 (1st Song)
Her Queen song is "Save Me". Never heard this one before, but she's doing a great job with it. Awesome!

Steven: A good old-fashioned song with a melody, something I miss nowadays. (Liked it)
J-Lo: I really felt you get emotional in the middle of it. When you did do that if did go off a little bit. I want to see you enjoy it more. I still feel like you're thinking. (she jabbers on about how to have a good time on stage)
Randy: You've been having a lot of good performances. This was pretty solid for you. You can take more chances. Everyone needs to have a moment. That song didn't quite have that for me.
Steven adds (after being asked by Seacrest) that he doesn't need all the vocal gymnastics that current singers do and appreciates that Hollie stayed with the simple melody of the song.

The judges have BLATANTLY shown that they have wanted her out for at least the past 3 weeks, which is precisely why I hope the lass stays!

    Agree!
I am rooting for her, despite what the “judges” say.

To: MagUSNRET
Joshua paired with Hollie for their part...sucked! he was WAY too loud and too DIVA...I agree and he sounded the same during his solo performance. But the judges seem to like oversinging.

I am sorry Jonny, I disagree — she was pitchy and didn’t really give the song a home.
Unless she rescues herself in the next hour, Hollie is on the bubble.

Auto tune J Lo should not be critiquing her singing capability.
As odd as Steven can be at least he can sing.
