This night is gonna suck. None of these singers will be able to pull off Queen, IMO. The styles just don’t match.

I am l;oving the critiques...”It really sounded great except for........and.........and then you did..........but other than that, you had a really great performance”
They should be politicians! They have a million ways to NOT tell you you suck

 (1st Song)
She's first with "Bohemian Rhapsody." She's technically good, but her voice isn't suited for this song. And the song is badly chopped to accomodate the show.

Steven: Freddy Mercury would have been proud to hear that. Rock isn't your forte (but he liked it)
J-Lo: Needed a little more of that rock performance. But overall good.
Randy: (gushing) 16, so unbelievably talented! Channel a little Tina Turner. blah, blah, he loved it.

    >>and Phillip makes Queen sound like Joe Cocker..<< Phil^2 makes Wayne Newton sound like Joe Cocker...
Or is it Dave Matthews? Maybe some sort of hybrid even?

Queen’s style died with Freddy, IMHO. We are left with good imitators and not so good imitators.

IM actually looking forward to hearing Elise and Skylar do a Queen tune...NOT so much Joshua -—I dont think Queen is the group you want to “Aretha-up”

Agree.... I think Elise can have a good night if she gets the right song in the right range.

Interestingly, Phil^2 makes Joe Cocker sounds like Dave Matthews (or is it the other way around?)

Well Jessica wasn’t as good as I thought she would be.
Think Hollie will Still do well.

Ryan is sicker than a dog. I can’t believe he’s doing the show. He’s been on an IV all day.

Bohemian Rhapsody on this show always sucks.
They should get William Shatner to be a mentor. He slays BH on his latest album. ;-)
