I REALLY enjoyed last night's show, because THIS is the music I grew up with.

I went to the AI website, and to my happy suprise, ALL the complete performances are available. It's interesting, aside from how good some of them are, to see what what shown, and what wasn't, on the show..IOW..how it's cut..what the producers want to hilite, or in some cases, lowlite..

Watched them all..suggest you go take a look when you have some time..Shannon McGrane, the 16 yo from Tampa, is AWESOME on Blue Suede Shoes (At The Hop)..especially the opening.

Also curious, the songs were assigned to each group, so obviously, they could favor some groups..i.e. the four girls who had "Be My Baby"

The blonde girl, on "Tell Him" has a great voice..though nobody can top Haley Scarnato signing that song..(sigh)

The one that really jumped out at me..ansd I can't remember the names..the group that did "rockin' robin.." where the girl one girl got cut after she first thought she had made it..the OTHER girl in the group, the little black chick..man..what a set of pipes on her...awesome..

Overall, the girls are way better this season, again.. Also, since the

I miss you guys too! I haven’t even watched the show this season. I think we are going to start watching from Hollywood on. The boys have basketball practice 3 nights a week and I have a class the other. NO time for TV!!!

We haven’t been since ....2001, I think. We are going to try to get to San Diego this summer for my grandpa’s 90th birthday later in the summer. I am going to make my parents take me to Disneyland. :-)
