The subject line of today's Newegg promo email:

"Love your deals fast & furiously discounted? Check out our new QUICK-DRAW DEALS!"

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Computers/Internet; Humor
KEYWORDS: fastandfurious; holdr
Seems our friends at NewEgg have a sense of humor....

I’ve yet to find anyone, anywhere that can beat their prices. Occasionally CompUSA/Tiger has comparable prices, and Costco and BestBuy have had some great prices on laptops and complete systems.

If you want to build - Newegg is the best.

Yes I have found that to be true as well.
My friends in IT buy their personal equipment from NewEgg.
I recently purchased an inexpensive laser printer from NewEgg; fifty dollars less than Best Buy or anyone on Amazon.

As well as almost always free shipping and next day delivery with paying extra. I've ordered stuff that arrived the next day without requesting next day delivery.

I recently bought a computer and monitor from them.

They threw in a blender. Go figure.

Everything works great, no complaints. But a blender seems random. Mrs WBill's comment was, "We need a toaster, too. Go get another PC!"

NewEgg= Good Egg! And I like the non-PC nature.

Maybe they ought to start sending Taliban Urinal Cakes free with each order, I’ll bet their business would go up.

Dittos on NewEgg. I’ve been buying from them for over 11 years now. Good prices and prompt delivery.

I think Fast & Furious was a popular computer game before it became the moniker for the gun running scandal.

$139 for two 8GB Corsair Memory sticks!!! That is unreal! Just a few months ago you would pay north of $1k for that memory! (Actually I have seen the same memory for $114 with a rebate).

It was a movie and game about street racing. When NewEgg followed up with the words “quick draw”, they brought it back to firearms. I think it really was a dig at the Gunrunner-in-Chief.

I noticed.

I was hoping to find a deal on a DPMS SASS in 7.62, but was disappointed to only find electronics stuff.

Long time customer, I really love the reviews there. Only place that comes close is Amazon.

A few years ago the memory industry got nailed with a lawsuit for price fixing. It was one thing that was way overpriced, compared to the rest of the electronics industry.

That was around the time that Epson and other companies would charge a ridiculously-low price for an ink jet printer, like $85 for a nice one, but the replacement ink cartridges would cost you $30 each, and didn't last very long.
