I'm starting to notice everyone -- and I mean EVERYONE -- having serious software issues. A website I manage is malfunctioning without decent reason; my home computer is acting strange; when I reached out to various friends, they are telling me the various systems they work around are all crashing. Even Emory (hospital) has had a major MedRec crash.
I'm starting to wonder if something deeper is going on. China, NorKorea, all our opponents -- any of them are capable of developing a 'quiet virus' that goes unnoticed by major Antivirus vendors. I wonder if we have been assaulted.
Please post if you are, or are not, seeing major computer issues in your neck of the woods.

I have no problems.
Whenever I'm hitting it online - I use protection.

Just checked the status of our entire 23,000 computer network.
Other than normal everyday issues, we seem to be running fine.
Cheers,

I’ve been having problems too. There seems to be a problem with my BS filter and I can’t read hardly anything good about Mittens that isn’t BS. I think its the Chinese.
It’s selective though...go figure.

Everything’s fine here, except that my laptop seems to have lost its ability to work wirelessly, but that’s an old problem from 3 or 4 weeks ago. It’s plugged into the router now. Works fine.

FWIW I'm having no issues on my local home network (w/about 15 devices connected), but the Internet keeps going from reasonably fast to sluggish for no apparent reason. I've been seeing that same problem for a week or so now. I attributed it to a bunch of people getting new video-streaming hardware (laptops, iPads, Apple TV, Roku, PopcornTime, etc.) for Christmas. Or maybe someone at my ISP just likes to irritate me.

I work for a major corporation as an IT Manager.
We’ve had a slew of unusual, unexplained issues recently. Our vendors (IBM, Oracle, et al) have been stymied. This has crossed multiple hosts and apps.
It’s funny, because based on some of the strange behavior I’ve seen recently, I recently had the very same thought you are having...

I have to agree, weird things keep cropping up on my puter. The latest is my caps key is now finctioning in reverse. I have to run it with large caps showing to get it to type in lower case.
I have SD, disconnected power, but it remains the same?

This is funny. Just got a text message from a friend who said her “comp keeps shutting down. What do I do?” Pretty sure she hasn’t been surfing the wrong sites and she’s knows not open strange emails. Although, I’ll say, she does take mine...If there is some emergent virus, her AV hasn’t detected it...not sure if she can keep it running long enuff to do a scan. FWIW
