What’s Next For The Alaskan Iron Lady?

After Governor Sarah Palin’s interview with Fox News’ Eric Bolling on the eve of the Iowa Caucus, I did a segment on my show where I stated that I will not be participating in any Sarah Palin reconsider or “earthquake” movements from now on. If you missed that segment you may listen here. I took some flak for it. Who cares. I believe after Palin’s interview with Bolling on Monday, she wasn’t reconsidering at this time.

ak267 didn’t say it was the ONLY reason or sole cause for said candidates winning (much like Romney, Gingrich, DeMint, etc.,), but from my experiences on the ground her influence was NOTICEABLE. I can personally vouch for this in my distruct in Georgia and from my relatives in Florida (Allen West), South Carolina (Nikki Haley and Tim Scott) and New Mexico (Susana Martinez).

Even though my candidate in Georgia didn’t win (Ray McKinney, district 12). Once Palin endorsed we noticed a rather LARGE jump in donations and volunteers. Many of the volunteers stated that is was Palin’s endorsement which sealed the deal to get involved.

My brother worked for the Haley staff and the results of Palin’s help was between night and day. Haley was fourth in the GOP primary and was going nowhere. Palin came in and Haley took off like wildfire. We asked local Tea Party groups about Palin’s endorsement and to them it sealed the deal on which GOP candidate to work with. Many were also enthused about Palin when she was at the 2010 Tea Party convention and became one of their storngest advocates.

Palin wasn’t the only reason and yes it was TEAM effort, but from report after report, her stumping, fund raising and politicing was a major force multiplier. Some endorsements were more notable than others.

“Good luck with Newt and Santorum.”

OK, no Palin in this post...seriously, who is left who has a chance of winning the nomination besides Romney? Surely you aren’t going there are you?

It was a Pro-Palin comment.
My point was, all the Newt supporters would love Palin’s endorsement, but they don’t want her to run.
I wish she would enter the race.

Good luck with Newt and Santorum.....oh yes, I agree with AK on this.

Newt lost me after the Dede Scozzafava debacle as well as sitting with Pelosi on climate change.

He never really owed up to the Scozzafava mess. Like a hit and run, he just drove away.

Santorum, going to Iowa on a shoestring budget is one thing, hitting the trail against the Romney machine...that’s another. Apparently, he likes his pork.

I eagerly await Palin’s appearance at CPAC.

Thought so. So I will assume you are among the delusional people who think the Princess Messiah is going to come in at the last minute and save the day. Why not have the cajones to admit it, at least I can respect a person who will own up to their pathology.

Well, considering how swimmingly this primary process is going...you guys really, really ought to give some serious consideration to a draft. I mean, if you actually want to win this thing. No, I’m not kidding. I wish I were.

Interesting. The more you write, the more you’re living up to your name. Everything must be a conspiracy or pathology. You’re sounding like you need help.

Oh maddie. Do you need your meds? Do you see plots and delusions everywhere? Did you forget your tinfoil hat?

Respect? Based upon your PDS displays, respect is not in your vocabulary.

And what’s with your fetish for cajones? Are you trying to say something there?

"I suspect if she were offered a Cabinet post she'd probably take it."

Probably not.

The hormones and egos that drive peoples' ambitions toward the presidency do not carry over to appointments to lesser positions.....Hillary Clinton being a notable exception among former top-tier presidential candidates.

Why would Sarah EVER accept an appointment to a politically dead-end position like a being an unknown head honcho for a sprawling government bureaucracy?

Outside of Hillary and one or two others, how many Cabinet members can anyone even name?

No, Sarah is slated for more productive things in the future....and her conservatism should not be wasted in the mind-numbing labyrinths of government agencies.

To suggest Palin accept a Cabinet post is to inadvertently want to bury her.

What the hell are you talking about? I simply asked who you and your little buddy are going to support. With no answer from either of you, I can only assume that you still think your fantasy woman is going ride in and save the day! That is simply pathological if true.

And no one has ever used such a novel line like ‘do you need your meds’ or make reference to a tin foil hat. I can see I am dealing with an original thinker.

We are stuck with Romney because people are still posting lunatic threads waiting for Sarah Palin.

That witch dem Obama loving woman commentator on last nights debate was laughing for a reason. The Obama machine won in splitting the vote. The MSM/Obama WANT ROMNEY because they are fully prepared to use romneycare and Romney flip flops. The MSM will turn this so heated that it goes beyond they’re usual left vs. right.Obama and Axelrod are LOLing as it is the idiotic GOP that thinks they have to be PC moderate to win (SEE McCain/Palin)Palin is a damned good spokesperson at times but Gingrich tagging her as VP won’t save the day.The tea party wants true reform; not McCainNewt/Palin II to doom us.

Go Santorum! Go Perry!

If my choices are the progressives plan “A”, Obama, or the progressives plan “B”, Romney, then h*** yes, I will write in Palin.

To accept a cabinet post for most former presidential contenders, you are right, it is to bury them.

Now let’s discuss Palin in a cabinet position. A bureaucracy shook up and slimmed down if not eliminated. Her resume strengthened and enhanced greatly. Liberal heads exploding in a wave from east to west. Life would be great!
