SECDEF Panetta just said “in crisis there is opportunity.” When you are perpetually in crisis mode, there is plenty of opportunity to skirt the law and engage in outrageous acts, unfettered by any self restraint or MSM oversight. (Fast and Furious is just the tip of the iceberg.)

Question for you. What would happen if impeachment proceedings were to be brought about this late in his term and in an election year?
Could a sitting president being investigated for impeachment even be allowed to be on the ticket?

I should think that he would not be on the ticket, by virtue of his no longer even occupying the office.
That would mean, of course, that we’d have to deal with Plugs as the POTUS, and whatever Socialist dweeb the Left nominates for Veep.
1) Every single item in your post, added up, amounts to 1.7% of the size of the US Defense Budget.
2) Virtually all the aid programs and countries receiving the aid extend back to the well back to the Carter, Reagan, Clinton, and both Bush administrations.
There’s lots of ammo there to impeach on. He did swear to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution in his failed attempt at the oath of office. How he can tell his Attorney General to not enforce legislated laws such as the Defense of Marriage Act is one article. He violated the “origination clause” of the Constitution, namely, Article 1, Section 7, which requires, “All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives by making purchase of health insurance mandatory in Obamacare. Making recess appointments when Congress is still in session is another article. Engaging in hostilities for periods longer than the War Powers Act allows without Congressional approval is a another breach. And probably many more unreported breaches.

Have seen it all before from the RATS. They never read the Constitution for if the RATS would read the Constitution the RATS would find that only defense is to be funded per the Constitution.
