:Okay, whats Old Bay and is that 3 minutes per side or will they cook through?”
Not 3 minutes per side, 3 minutes period - you DO NOT flip them. They will cook through, trust me. When you bite one cooked this way, it pops like it’s supposed to. Never turn out rubbery - very bad.
“Old Bay”? Well, if you’ve never had it, you’ve been missing out on a lot. :-)
C’mon Hatteras, give it a try. Just do it once and you’ll be sold.
Do any surf fishing this year?
Thirty years ago I lived in southwestern Spain. The seafood vendors there sold ‘Tiger Prawns’.
Spanish trawlers would fish the Atlantic, far to the south off the coast of Africa and return with shrimp and prawns. So I’m wondering if this is the same creature.
Are these possibly the same species, or a related species?
I prefer Tiger shrimp. Lovely taste. I’m one of those that paid extra for them in the Carolinas at the markets and was glad to do so. They were more succulent and tender than gulf shrimp.
Wrong! Jumbo shrimp, leave the heads on, wrap in bacon, toss on grill on high heat, 3 min each side. Now there is the best shrimp you will ever eat. :-)
Well, now you’ve just gone and made me hungry :(
You're bad.
Full Disclosure: or methyl mercaptan.
Cheers!
the shrimp I buy are from Thailand...our long time ally.
Classic example. I am not some environmentalist, but I do understand this type of stuff isn’t good.
Glad ole Pockrus wasn’t around when homo sapien started kickin’ the $hit out of the neanderthal...someone mightta felt compelled to intervene or create an agency to stop it.
